Job Summary:

If so, Ford of Harvey is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Service Manager. As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of our service department. This includes leading a team of technicians and ensuring excellent customer service, as well as maintaining and exceeding sales goals.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time position with a base salary plus commission structure, offering a competitive annual compensation of $90,000 to $125,000 annually, paid semi-monthly. Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the service department
Develop and implement strategies to increase service department sales and profitability
Hire, train, and supervise a team of technicians to ensure efficient and high-quality repairs and maintenance services
Oversee the scheduling of service appointments and ensure customer satisfaction
Maintain accurate records of service department activities and financials
Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes
Ensure compliance with all safety and company policies and procedures
Collaborate with other departments to provide excellent customer service and promote cross-selling opportunities
Stay updated on current automotive technology and trends to provide knowledgeable and accurate information to customers
Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote the service department and increase sales

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an automotive service or related field
Previous management experience preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficient in automotive technology and repair processes
Excellent customer service and sales skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks effectively
Proficient in Microsoft Office and automotive software systems
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
