The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Supervisor to join and lead our team at one of our 200+ unit communities in Houston. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the highest standards of property maintenance and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Leadership: Supervise and motivate your maintenance team, ensuring they meet property-specific goals. Contribute to hiring and managing your maintenance team.
Maintenance: Coordinate the repair and maintenance of apartment units and property facilities, ensuring they meet Lone Star Communities' standards.
Customer Service: Provide prompt and courteous responses to service requests, maintaining a high level of resident satisfaction. We pay weekly bonuses to the entire management team for completing work orders within 48 hours.
Property Appearance: Ensure the property’s appearance meets or exceeds standards, with an adequate supply of market-ready apartments to meet leasing demand.

Qualifications

Experience: High school diploma/GED and three to five years of experience in multifamily property management, facility maintenance, and/or mechanical repair, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
Technical Skills: HVAC experience required; EPA Type II or EPA Universal license required.
Leadership: One to three years of supervisory experience preferred.
Licensing: Valid driver’s license from the state of residence required.

Culture and Benefits

Lone Star Communities is looking for the best and we want to treat our employees the best too. Hourly pay is $30 to $34/hour with weekly and monthly bonuses for an extra $1,000 per month as well as a full benefits plan.

We offer a 100% apartment discount (75% discount on 3-bedroom units) for our Maintenance Supervisors.
