The opportunity:
We are currently seeking a Chiller Product Manager to join our dynamic team in Alpharetta, GA as part of the Engineering Team!
What you’ll do:
Analyze, build, and maintain competitive product application strategies for existing and new competitive products in the market
Track industry direction and developments in AHRI, ASHRAE, and other standards and develop strategies for product development accordingly
Work cross functionally to identify strategic product needs, evaluate feasibility of product concepts, develop requirements, and develop presentation of concepts, applications, and requirements to enter into product planning roadmap
Define product/feature requirements and effectively communicate with the factory through product/feature development process
Work closely with factory R&D teams to understand existing and new product features and operation to create strategic direction for proper product applications and competitively advantaging LG products.
Develop strategy and educate the organization on strategy for related products and features and their application.
Facilitate knowledge transfer of new and existing products across the organization including Sales, Service, Training, Marketing, and Product Support.
Provide support to other teams in creation and review of catalogs, brochures, submittals, guide specifications, manuals, etc.
To be successful you will need:
Bachelor of Science in ME, EE or equivalent required
5+ yrs experience in US applied commercial air conditioning industry including experience in technical product applications support required
Successful history of interaction with R&D teams
New Product Introduction (NPI): product definition, product/feature prioritization, product details/operation, strategic application and positioning
Global applied commercial air conditioning industry experience a plus
Experience with Chillers, VRF (variable refrigerant flow) HVAC (heating, ventilation & air conditioning) systems a plus
Experience in Product Management a plus
Direct and attributable HVAC experience required
Comfortable presenting to and engaging with a technical audience including reps, engineers, contractors, and owners.
Adaptable to the management style and process methods of foreign colleagues to achieve common goals.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical and architectural blueprints, specifications and HVAC equipment submittal data.

Base Salary $92,900 to $125,000
In addition to the above, we believe that pay transparency is a key part of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our salary ranges take into account many factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skillset, experience, licensure, certifications, internal equity, and other business needs. We consider geographic pay differentials in final offers.
