We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor with a strong background in apartment complex maintenance. The Maintenance Supervisor will handle all aspects of negotiating with contractors and shopping for proposals. Customer service is a priority, and attention to detail are critical skills to ensure the satisfaction of the tenants.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Communicates any delays in completing a work order with the management office.
- Troubleshoot repair and maintenance issues involving electrical, plumbing, A/C, HVAC, appliances and carpentry as needed.
- Stay current on all applicable building codes and safety standards.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS ·
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance maintenance
- Customer service first attitude.
- Professional, courteous and friendly demeanor.
- Proactive self-starter and a team-player.
- Knowledge of Chillers/Boilers
- Able to work on Convectors
- Must have a clean driving record and personal, reliable transportation.
- Must be willing and able to be hands-on.
