Responsibilities for Service Technician
- Diagnose HVAC problem and come up with solutions to repair them.
- Explain issues with HVAC equipment and repair needs to customers.
- Install new parts and test them to ensure they are working correctly.
- Perform HVAC maintenance as needed for customer.
- Educating the client on how to use and maintain their HVAC equipment.
- Order parts needed for repairs if needed using correct PO system of company.
- Complete company record (invoices) on services/repairs after each call is completed.
- Collect any monies owed for the service, repair, and/or maintenance.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, promote how important it is to retain the customer with CAC.
Qualifications for Service Technician
- Working knowledge of HVAC equipment
- Ability to install, repair, service, test and troubleshoot equipment.
- Must be able to read wiring diagrams.
- Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule/on call schedule.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently without much supervision.
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending, lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to effectively manage time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
