Drain Technicians | WHAT WE DO
- Clear drain/sewer lines that are clogged
- Inspect drain/sewer lines with a camera, identify potential defects
- Repairing and replacing sump pumps and sewage pumps
- Selling sewer line repair and replacements for old or defective sewer lines
- Leading projects for new sewer line installs or repairs
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times
Here's an overview of your responsibilities:
Service Manager | WHAT YOU BRING
- Experience working on drains is required. That experience should include unclogging drains with electric snakes and/or high-velocity water jets and using a sewer camera to inspect drain lines.
- Team Management: You'll be responsible for managing a team of plumbers, technicians, and support staff. This includes hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Customer Service: Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction is paramount. You'll need to handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure that services are delivered promptly and effectively.
- Operations Management: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service department, including dispatching technicians, managing inventory, and coordinating job assignments.
- Quality Assurance: Maintaining high-quality standards in service delivery is crucial for customer retention and reputation management. You'll need to implement quality control measures and ensure that all work meets industry standards and regulations.
- Budgeting and Financial Management: Developing and managing budgets for the service department, including monitoring expenses, optimizing resource allocation, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensuring that all work complies with relevant safety regulations and standards is essential. You'll need to implement safety protocols, provide training on safety procedures, and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained.
- Business Development: Identifying opportunities for business growth and expansion is part of your role. This may involve developing new service offerings, exploring new markets, and nurturing relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Technical Expertise: While you may not be performing hands-on plumbing work yourself, having a strong understanding of plumbing systems and techniques is important for effective management and decision-making.
- Emergency Response: Being prepared to handle emergency situations is crucial in this role. You'll need to have protocols in place for responding to urgent service calls and ensuring that technicians can quickly address critical issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Striving for continuous improvement in processes, systems, and service delivery is key to staying competitive in the market. Regularly evaluating performance metrics, soliciting feedback from customers and staff, and implementing necessary changes are essential aspects of your role.
- Valid Texas Plumbing License Preferred
- Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 75 lbs
- Valid Driver’s License in good standing
Salary:
- $65k - $85k / year
- Base + Commission
