We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in electrical systems, blueprint reading, and a strong understanding of both low and high voltage systems. Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential settings
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine electrical layouts
- Utilize power tools and equipment to complete electrical projects
- Perform renovations and upgrades to existing electrical systems
- Work on both low voltage (communications, security) and high voltage systems
- Collaborate with other team members on larger projects
- Adhere to safety standards and regulations at all times
Qualifications:
- Journeyman/Journeywoman or Master Electrician license required
- Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician or similar role
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting electrical plans
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Experience with hand tools and electrical testing equipment
- Previous experience in building or renovation projects is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
