Overview: We are looking for a Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber to join our team!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in multifamily buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure plumbing systems are installed correctly.
- Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues or potential problems.
- Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure their longevity and efficiency.
- Use hand tools, pipe threading machines, and other equipment to complete plumbing projects.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to building codes and regulations.
Prerequisites:
- Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber license or equivalent certification
- Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or similar role
- Proficient in using hand tools and specialized plumbing equipment.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and basic understanding of electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Basic math skills for measuring, calculating pipe lengths, etc.
