Plumber
Job Overview:
The Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and waste disposal. The role requires expertise in various tasks related to plumbing systems, including interpreting blueprints, assembling piping components, and ensuring compliance with building codes.
Responsibilities:
- Install and repair plumbing systems in residential or commercial buildings.
- Interpret blueprints to determine optimal pipe installation routes.
- Assemble and install piping components such as fittings and valves.
- Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues and perform repairs.
- Collaborate with construction teams on new building projects to ensure proper plumbing installation.
- Adhere to safety standards and building codes while performing plumbing tasks.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in plumbing techniques including soldering, welding, and brazing.
- Knowledge of schematics and blueprints for plumbing systems.
- Experience with commercial driving for transporting materials to job sites.
- Basic carpentry skills for accessing pipes behind walls or under floors.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems for integrated installations.
- Strong ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimates.
- Previous experience in construction sites assembling and installing plumbing systems.
