We are a fast growing multi-channel online retailer, wholesaler, and distributor for innovative outdoor sporting goods. We sell through our retail and distribution partners and our web stores (longhorntactical.com & nitecorestore.com) and marketplaces like Amazon, eBay and Walmart, etc.
Our marketing team is responsible for catalog management, marketing support for our dealer program, digital marketing for web stores, and eCommerce marketplaces and support our wholesale team. The activities range from product catalog creation and management, search engine optimization, advertisement, email campaign to social media activities, etc.
We are seeking a social media specialist to join our growing marketing team. The right candidate should be both creative and analytical, who is able to connect with people, love to learn, explore new ideas, and expand the scope of responsibility over time.
The focus of this position will be social media content creation (text, image and video) on various social media platforms including FB/IG, youtube, tiktok etc, community management, affiliate and influencer management,. Long term, there will be opportunities to grow to all aspects of digital marketing tasks.
This is an on-site only position.
Responsibilities:
- Create and manage the content of social media outlets (Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok and YouTube)
- Create short form video content on social media platforms for a product demo, troubleshooting, etc.
- Developing and maintain social content calendars, supporting sales and marketing strategies, brand moments, and more
- Participate and build a relationship with targeted online communities, forums, marketing affiliates and product reviewers
- Monitor and analyze content performance using analytics tools to make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skill
- Minimal one years experience in social media management
- Minimal one years experience to create video content for social media channels.
- Basic Excel skills
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Intermediate Video editing skill
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools a plus
- Basic graphic design
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in relevant fields
- Must pass a background check
