Responsibilities:

Plumbing Maintenance & Repair: Inspect, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, valves, toilets, sinks, and other water fixtures throughout the campus.
Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on plumbing systems, HVAC, lighting, and other building infrastructure to identify and resolve issues before they escalate.
Emergency Response: Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, including leaks, clogs, and equipment malfunctions.
General Building Maintenance: Assist with general maintenance tasks as needed, including minor carpentry, basic electrical repairs, painting, and groundskeeping.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in compliance with health, safety, and building regulations. Identify and report safety hazards or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of plumbing work, service logs, and inventory of supplies and equipment.
Collaboration: Work closely with the facilities team, administrators, and other staff to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks effectively.

Qualifications:

Experience: 2 years of plumbing and general maintenance experience
Education/Certification: High school diploma or GED required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in plumbing systems and repairs, with basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, and general maintenance.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues quickly and efficiently.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders, and work in various conditions, including outdoor settings.
Safety-Focused: Strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following safety procedures.
Communication Skills: Good communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, students, and vendors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
