Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, as well as the ability to read schematics and detect issues within HVAC systems. The technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of air conditioning units.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment, utilizing mechanical knowledge to identify problems effectively.
- Build and install cabling for air conditioning units as needed.
- Work with security systems (IDS) related to HVAC setups when applicable.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during installation and repair tasks.
- Read and interpret schematics to ensure proper installation and functionality of air conditioning systems.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding system performance and maintenance needs.
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience as a service technician in the HVAC industry is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to air conditioning systems is essential.
- Familiarity with cabling, security systems (IDS), hand tools, power tools, and schematics is highly desirable.
- Ability to detect issues within HVAC systems quickly and accurately.
- A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.

Pay: $2,000.00 - $3,000.00 per week
